The Basics

Jeremy and I have an apartment in Kihei, HI. The town is very small and our apartment is about two blocks away from the ocean. Jeremy is working at Maui Electric as a dispatcher and I am volunteering at Hope Chapel and looking for a teaching job. Hope Chapel is the church we have been going to in Kihei. We would not be surviving without this church. We have gotten involved in a small group on Tuesday nights and there are tons of activities for Young Adults.  I have also started a Beth Moore bible study. Camping has become our newest hobby. We have met an incredible group of people that love camping.  This isn’t Texas camping in a camper with an air conditioner. This is camping under the stars either by the beach or in the mountains. They have taken us hiking, cliff jumping, and swimming thru caves. My favorite thing to do so far is paddle boarding. It is so much fun and a great workout. Jeremy really loves snorkeling, and wants to get into scuba diving.  Some days are great and some days are lonely, but every day God is teaching us an incredible lesson. We are excited to see what this year brings.
